What is a Thies Recon machine?

A Thies Recon machine is a dyeing machine that has been completely reconditioned in our works. Each machine part is checked and replaced if required. Very often the control cabinet, control panel as well as various fittings are new.

Certain completely reconditioned machines are available ex stock. Otherwise delivery will be effected as soon as possible.

You can choose which Thies service is required, exactly as with new machines.

Yes, you can, each machine can be modified. Details and options must be discussed with one of our sales engineers.

Yes, they are. Each HT machine is delivered with the complete set of approval documents.
 

Do the Thies Recon machines still meet today's technical requirements?

Yes, they do. On one hand we have quite „young" machines, which are presently delivered in identical design as new machines. On the other hand, older machines are being modified upon request (functions, automation, etc) such way that they have up to date standard.
 

How old can a Recon machine be, still ensuring long term reliability?

As almost all machines are re-automated and moving parts often replaced it is only the kier which has the original year of manufacture. Kiers are fully inspected so you can be confident that a Thies Recon machine has the same life span as a new machine. Consequently the year of manufacture is irrelevant.
 

Is after-sales service available for Thies Recon machines?

Yes, of course, our service offices worldwide ensure an identical service regarding spare parts and technical support for Thies Recon machines as with new machines.
 

Can I modify a Thies Recon machine such way that it fits the degree of automation regarding chemicals supply, dyestuff dissolving, etc in my factory?
